Us
China Peony Nursery belongs to Gaoxin seed&seedling Research Institute. Our Nursery is
a major scientific research institution on peony in China, possessing an area of 200 mu for
the breeding base of peony fine strains, greenhouse and many scientific research
personnel's.
Yearly the nursery can provide 150000 plants of tree and herbaceous peonies,200000
blossoms of forced peonies in winter,300000 stems of herbaceous peony fresh-cut flowers
with domestic and overseas markets. And held peony exhibition in Spring and
Winter, and
undertake construction of peony gardens.
We primarily provide:

(1)Selection of dwarf tree peony varieties 1:dwarf varieties and color

Abstract:
24 dwarf tree peonies have been selected form 322 varieties cultured
in Heze city urban ,shangdong province.Dwarf variety colors include
in 2 blue ,4 pink,4 purple red, 9 red,4 purple and 1 white.The rates of
selection are 9.5%,7.8%,3.7%,10% and 7.5%.Other color dwarf
tree peonies,such as green,complex color,dark purple and yellow
flower varieties,have not find and choice from that in Heze.Dwarf tree
peony height is not highter than 40cm in 5 year growing in field , in
which the shortest 5 year,one year and remained growth shoot height
are 22,6.3and 2.9cm.

Abstract
24 dwarf tree peonies have been selected form 322 varieties cultured in Heze
city urban ,shan dong province.Dwarf tree peony flower forms include lotus,
crown, chrysanthemum,crown proliferate,hundred proliferate,rose and anemone,
in which varieties are 4,8,2,2,1,6and 1,respectively.In single,golden-circle
and globular ones have not find choice dwarf variety.The rate of selection
from flower from variety are 11.8%,7.3%,4.4%,14.3%,2.4%,14.6%,6.7%.Dwarf
tree peony height is not heighter than 40cm in 5 year growing in field,in
which the shortest height of 5 year,one year and annual remained shoot are
22,6.3and 2.9 cm,belong to anemone and rose,rose and crown varieties,
separately.

(3)Primary Identification On The Pathogen Of Peony Root Rot

Abstract:
121 isolates were obtained from samples of peony root rot collected from Heze
region in Shandong Province .They were identified as 13 genus(species).Among
them the dominant fungus of the highest frequency that emeraged was
designated as Fusarium solani(Mart.)Sacc.based on character of cultural,
growth rate of colonies,conidiogenous cells,measure of macroconidia and
pathgenicity.It is first report in Peony in our country.
